The STAR1M is a 2-in-1 access control solution. With two distinct modes, this product can act either as a standalone controller or as a MIFARE reader as part of an online access control system. In standalone mode, the STAR1M offers the benefit of shadow card technology. All issued card credentials come with a copy - if a card is lost or an employee leaves without returning theirs, you can simply use the shadow card to invalidate the credential.
