Mains-powered universal receiver
Thanks to the many situations it has encountered, CDVI Wireless has developed a wide range of receivers. The parameters defining their architecture, in addition to the operating frequency and modulation—which must match those of the associated transmitter—include the communication protocol and the output type, whether relay-based or digital, such as open collector, Wiegand, or the more recent OSDP and ModBus.
The number and characteristics of the relay outputs must be suitable for the connected and controlled device, such as control units for automatic opening, access control systems, electric locks, or magnets.
The receiver can manage multiple transmitters, thus requiring substantial memory capacity to operate effectively in residential environments where many users access the same common gateway.
The memory, which stores the transmitters, must allow for the addition and removal of devices throughout the system's normal lifecycle.
